Olympic Slide
Places
Paris 2004
How can we imagine ourselves at the heart of the Olympics, at a time when the site of the future Olympic village in Batignolles is still just a railway wasteland?
Slides for Paris 2012
The project proposes a giant slide, representing the excitement of the Olympics, connecting two levels: a pier overlooking the site and an exhibition space on the ground floor. A system regulates the starts, allowing ten participants to descend simultaneously and race to the finish line.
Exhibited at the Pavillon de l'Arsenal in 2004, this project offers a playful experience, symbolizing the dynamics of the Games.
Client: City of Paris and Pavillon de l'Arsenal.
