Considering that the shape of an industrial object can be entirely generated starting from its manufacturing process, we have reduced the wall shelf to its simplest form.

The shelves, made of sheet steel, are laser-cut, folded and then lacquered with epoxy paint (thermal lacquering).

To achieve Bradfer, our approach was to ensure that its manufacture did not generate any waste during cutting. This way, all of the material used in the production cost goes back to the user.

Thanks to its low manufacturing cost, we were able to produce this item ourselves in small series, in batches of 100 copies.

Design and production of small series of self-produced wall shelves

Considering that the final form of an industrial object can be fully generated through its fabrication process, we reduced the wall shelf to its most basic shape: a laser-cut steel sheet, folded and then thermo-lacquered with epoxy paint.

While designing Bradfer, our goal was to make sure that the fabrication would produce absolutely no off-cuts. In this way, all the material used for the production goes to its user!

The cost of manufacturing being kept quite low, we managed to produce this object entirely on our own and made small series, in quantities of 100.
