Onsen Set
Collection of bathroom objects
Kyoto, Japan

A collection of bathing objects dedicated to the practice of onsen, the art of Japanese hot bathing. The set consists of a sauna bucket, onsen bucket, soap basket and accessories, washing mirror and onsen stool, all made of rot-proof Japanese wood, Hinoki and Koyamaki.

The comfort of baths

This project was created in collaboration with artist and master cabinetmaker Shuji Nakagawa in his Shiga studio. Presented during Nuit Blanche Kyoto 2023 as part of the "Le confort des bains" installation at Villa Kujoyama.
